One Night in the Streets of Manhattan

“One Night in the Streets of Manhattan” recollects my terrifying memories and emotional trauma of being attacked by a stranger on 54th Street in Manhattan.   As I was walking down a quiet street, suddenly someone came to me from behind.   Without a word, and before I could make a move, he sprayed continuously, without pause, straight into my eyes a very strong, chemicals, which I found out later was the pepper spray.

This photo project describes the pain and suffering at the moment I was attacked.   Although I was healed at last, I have suffered a greater loss, which is called the loss of innocence.   I hope my story can bring you more awareness, and I hope we can have safe streets.
